{ABOUT US}

Artware Editions is a hybrid gallery and design showroom located in New York's West Village neighborhood.  Founded by art dealers Rebecca Epstein Kong and Jon Tomlinson, Artware Editions specializes in functional objects and furniture designed by artists.

These objects can vary greatly in medium and function having in common two central themes: utility, and strong visual and conceptual connections to the artists' larger bodies of work.  Examples include an upcoming fragrance and custom bottle by Kiki Smith; chandeliers made of slender milk-glass cylinders or a poplar chair by Richard Tuttle; an acrylic console table by Markus Linnenbrink; a long entry bench made of found pallet wood by Helen Mirra; or wallpaper by Douglas Gordon based on his 2003 three-channel video Play Dead; Real Time.

In addition to limited edition works, Artware Editions is pleased to offer the furniture designs produced by the Donald Judd Foundation and Yves Klein Estate.  This includes all metal and wood furniture by Judd, as well as Klein’s seminal pigment and gold-leaf filled plexiglass tables.
