This custom Writing Desk and Bench by the sculptor Christopher Kurtz is hand-made by the artist in his studio. Both pieces are hand-planed with lathe-turned legs and a hand-rubbed oil finish. The seat of the bench shows a lovely curvature that is achieved through carving rather than bending and the angled back coupled with the deep seat makes the whole set extremely comfortable and versatile.

The pieces are sold separately or as a set and can be fabricated in a variety of woods and finishes.
