Sketchbooks for Architects challenges all those creative types who declare their best work is scratched out on cocktail napkins. Each notebook is made of 40 white, paper cocktail napkins bound together with a red binding compound.
Much of Jensen's sculptural work relies on an alchemy between the subject, the material, and the act of making. For this series of objects, Jensen sculpts intentionally self-conscious representations of everyday things and through her play with scale and functionality, as well as her choice of material, she evokes the humor and intuitive insight for which her larger body of work is known.
